JOB PURPOSE

 

The Events Specialist is responsible for a diverse range of in-store events, including animations, parties, cultural and social events, and dinners.



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Curate high-impact retail events that align with set revenue targets and drive direct sales in local and regional stores.
  • Ensure seamless execution of seasonal 360° launches, connecting retail, merchandising, and marketing to maximise impact.
  • Manage all aspects related to the planning and execution of in-store events, collaborating with all involved company functions to interpret creative briefs.
  • Support the realisation of events by researching talent, onboarding new suppliers, scouting locations, defining timelines, set-ups, and budgets.
  • Support the Retail Sales team in effectively rolling out events, assisting with operations and clienteling.
  • Supervise service activities such as catering, security, logistics, and models.
  • Guarantee excellence in event execution and back-of-house operations.
  • Ensure a consistent information flow across functions, streamlining communication processes.
  • Manage dedicated budget, planning, timing, and costs.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities within the events department, such as C-sphere orchestrator, SAP, live events calendar, event proposals, and guidelines.
  • Find new suppliers for event implementation, conducting negotiations within budget.
  • Research and report on competitors' activities in the areas of responsibility.
  • Collate and analyse subsidiaries' business needs and best practices.
  • Produce qualitative and quantitative reporting on all events.



KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS


  • Bachelor’s degree and above
  • At least 5-year experience in a similar role, preferably in Retail, Marketing, CRM role in the Luxury/Fashion industry
  • Strong relational and organisational skills.
  • Interest and attitude towards fashion and luxury products
  • Knowledge of Office applications, in particular Excel, Power Point
  • Fluent in both English and Korean.
